Club Umpire Seminar

With the season fast approaching, AFL Sydney have set dates for their upcoming club umpiring seminars.

AFL Sydney clubs are encouraged to identify a few people to be registered as club umpires and club umpire during the year. Through having a regular club umpire, they will grow in confidence and become more consistent in the application of the laws of the game. Over the last few years there have been changes in some rules and interpretations and therefore it is important that all club umpires are up to date with the current interpretations.

There will now be three seminars conducted by Graham Glassford and will cover basic umpiring skills and also AFL Sydney requirements. The dates for these are -

Date: Sunday 16^th　 March 2014

Venue: North Sydney Oval

Time: 10am to 1 pm

Date: Tuesday 18^th March 2014

Venue: North Sydney Oval

Time: 6:30pm to 9:30pm

Date: Thursday 20^th March 2014

Venue: Blacktown International Sportspark

Time: 6:30pm to 9:30pm

Those intending to attend a session are to register by sending an e-mail to scott.burkinshaw@aflnswact.com.au at least five (5) days before the date of the course.
