NPL WA is coming
WA football’s new era will kick-off on March 8 when the wrapper is peeled off the state’s inaugural National Premier Leagues competition.
Although five Member Federations held NPL competitions last season, 2014 will be truly representative of the country’s burgeoning football scene when WA, Victoria and Northern NSW join the new initiative this year.

Armadale, Bayswater City, Balcatta, Cockburn City, ECU Joondalup, Floreat Athena, Inglewood United, Perth SC, Perth Glory, Sorrento, Stirling Lions and Subiaco will compete for the 2014 NPL WA title.
The NPL WA will be contested at senior level, as well as competitions in U20, U18, U16, U15, U14, U13 and U12 age groups.
Aside from the NPL aiming to improve coaching, player development and general club standards, there will also be the excitement of an NPL play-off series, which will pit the champion clubs from each Member Federation against each other in an end-of-season battle to crown Australia’s best NPL club.
