KBF Annual General Meeting
Representatives from each clubs were also invited to attend the meeting as to bring up ideas and comments for the 2013 basketball activities and others. These clubs includes Bikenibeu Basketball, Nawerewere Basketball, Teaoraereke Basketball club, Bairiki Basketball club, Betio and Buota.
Nomination
Two weeks before the meeting start NBDO distributed nomination forms to each clubs to work carefully with their teams and choose eligable candidates for the vote who will be leading KBF toward 2014. A follow up remind from the federation to each clubs that one vote will accepted.

The meeting starts with welcome remarks from the president Mr Kautu Temakei and followed with breifing about the main purpose of the meeting.
Vote
According to the vote procedure, secret ballot was distributed to each members to vote new bearers according to names listed in the nomination forms.

Tiaon Tonganibeia for President
Teiwaki Tekanene has been appointed as the new President of KBF against Mr Tonganibeia out of 16 people voted. Mr Bwere T. Tebakabo has been appointed as the new Secretary for KBF against Mr Mweretaka. For directors, there are 3 candidates competing for two chairs as a director. Finally Sualiki Neemia and Taake Itimita beating Mr Nauan as now become the new directors for KBF replacing X-directors (Rota & Teekia). In completion of the vote Mr X President hand over everything to the new board to continue their roles. Each new bearers gives a few words thanking everyone for the opportinuty they task for and informed members for the next meeting.
Meeting ended at 3:45pm.
