UNSW/ES are pleased to announce three co-coaches for our U19 side in 2014 in Tom Williamson, Jack McAnespie and Tom Naghten.
All 3 players played senior football last year and both Tom Williamson and Jack McAnespie will continue their roles in an improving Premier Division side in 2014.
Whilst Tom Naghten is taking the year off to recover from several serious injuries over the past few seasons he will be able to fully take over the reins as U19’s coach when the other 2 coaches have their own Premier Division games which unfortunately will conflict with the U19 games locations and times occasionally throughout the season.
Football Operations Manager Paul Simonson commented;
“It is very pleasing to see the enthusiasm that Tom, Jack and Tom will bring to the side in 2014 and the club will support the co-coaches and the players as they set out on their journey to take the next step following a narrow defeat in last year’s Grand Final to Pennant Hills.
The new coaches take over from the admirable coaches from the previous 2 years under Joel Robbie who will continue to play Premier Division (as well as offering assistance in mentoring the new coaches) and Adam Gulden who has taken a further step in his footballing future after being recruited by South Adelaide in the SANFL.”
