Brisbane City FC - Women's Football Information Night
Brisbane City Football Club would like to invite any interested Under 17 and Senior Women’s Players who may be interested in opportunities within the National Premier Leagues program for 2014.
Due to the withdrawal of our Women’s Football partner (Gap Football Club) Brisbane City FC as a club are committed to establishing a sustainable women’s football program with long term ambitions of ensuring it’s recognition as a premier development program, producing quality female players and supported by a quality network system.
Brisbane City recognises the importance of ongoing development of women’s football, not simply the National Premier Leagues, but also through support of their partner clubs by providing:
- Quality, highly accredited coaches and support staff
- Modern and up to date coaching methodologies
- Excellent playing and training facilities
- Ongoing Coach Education
- Development of Elite Coaching Opportunities for Women
- Female Specific Coaching Courses
- Female Specific High Performance Coaching Pathways
- Pathways to State, Queensland Academy of Sport, W-League and National programs
- Female Specific Development Programs
- Promotion of Women’s Football
- Synergies with the NPL Boys Program
- Support for Community Clubs within our network who provide Women’s / Girl’s football
- Ongoing support of the Women’s Program by BCFC to Develop Sustainability
