Roar To Play In NPL Queensland
Football Queensland are pleased to announce that Brisbane Roar FC will compete in the forthcoming NPL Queensland season for 2014.
Roar will field two teams in the competition, with the Foxtel National Youth League team set to compete in the Senior Mens Division while the Westfield W-League side will compete in the Under 15 Boys Division.
Brisbane Roar Football Director Ken Stead said, “This is a major step forward for Brisbane Roar.”
“Playing in the National Premier Leagues Queensland competition gives our best youth and senior women’s players an opportunity to play football and develop their skills all year around.
“Our focus is not on winning the competition but providing opportunities and producing players.”
