NAB AFL Auskick has wrapped up for another year across the region with more students than ever getting the opportunity to participate in the popular introductory program.
With near 70 centres in 2013 alone and over 140 school visits to promote and spread the word of Auskick, staff have been kept busy for the entire year. Though records didn't tumble like they did in 2012 and 2011, 2013 was the year of transition.
A record number of participants crossed to club footy to help AFL Darling Downs reach a record 927 registered club juniors for the year.
Regional Manager Keith Webb said it was another fantastic year with the focus on a quality program.
"Our main focus was to run a quality program and we delivered, from here we knew we would get the participants across, hats off to my staff," Regional Manager Keith Webb said on Auskick this year.
"We had a high transition rate from Auskick to Club footy and visited schools that we had never gone to before, 2013 was definitely a success," Webb added.
NAB AFL Auskick is set for a big 2014 with a two brand new packs and a brand new program. Staff will start hitting schools from the first week back next year. If you want to find out your nearest centre visit www.aflauskick.com.au or look out for staff on your school Assembly!
