After the completion of a detailed interviewing process with high quality applicants, and on behalf of the Gippsland Soccer League Board of Directors, I am proud to announce Tony Coltman as the newly appointed Gippsland Soccer League Football Administrator, Tony will commence his position at the GSL Administration Office in Morwell on Thursday 28th November 2013.

Tony has been a well known identity within the Gippsland Football Community for the last 15 years, the first year of his volunteer journey as a football club administrator was as the Secretary of the Gippsland Falcons Junior Soccer Club, he then completed 7 years stints as a Club Secretary and Senior Teams Team Manager at both the Falcons 2000 and the Fortuna ’60 Soccer Clubs respectively.

Over the years Tony has earned himself a reputation as a hard working team member, who is very pro-active, as well as possessing the organizational and communicative skills that we as a league believe will further enhance the day to day operational and administration running of the Gippsland Soccer Leagues Administration Office in Morwell..

In his role as a Club Secretary, Tony has formed many lasting and ongoing friendships with opposition Club Presidents, Secretaries, Committee Members, Coaches, Players and Supporters, who know him as approachable and understanding of the concerns and needs of their respective clubs, always willing to listen and help with advice if requested.

In the last 12 months Tony has been both Secretary of the Fortuna ’60 Soccer Club as well as a Board Member of the Gippsland Soccer League, both positions he has resigned from to take up his new role with as the GSL Football Administrator, Tony in conjunction with the current Assistant Football Administrator Nicole Osborne will form a dynamic team partnership, that will ensure the day to day operations and administration of the Gippsland Soccer League are performed to a high standard.

As Chairman and on behalf of the GSL Board of Directors, the new GSL Football Administrator Tony Coltman and GSL Assistant Football Administrator Nicole Osborne, I would also like to thank the outgoing GSL Football Manager Paul Crowe for his dedicated service to the Gippsland Soccer League as well as the Gippsland Football Community as a whole during his tenure over the last 2 years, during this time he implemented many operational initiatives, making long time friends and his passion for the world game is well known, all of us at the Gippsland Soccer League wish Paul, Lee-Ann and Family our best wishes for their future.
