Isabelle Baldock and Georgie Seaniger have earned State honours once again, after both were today named in the official 2014 Under 18 Queensland Youth Girls side to contest the National Championships in May next year.
This is Baldocks third straight State honour after previous selections in the 2012, 2013 and now the 2014 Queensland team. Seaniger has continued to grow her stature with her second State selection after representing Queensland in Shepparton this year.
AFLQ Darling Downs Regional Manager Keith Webb said it is a fantastic result.
"Female footy is rapidly growing and to have both Isabelle and Georgie selected in the State team is once again a great result for the region."
Webb also added, "It is perfect timing as we look to start our promotion of the 2014 Youth Girls competition for the Darling Downs."

A squad of 24 girls has been selected to represent Queensland in the 2014 Youth Girls National Championships. The players were selected following their performances at last weekend’s U17 Youth Girls State Championships.
Selectors looked to create a balanced squad in their choices, with plenty of difficult decisions having to be made. This year’s Youth Girls State Championships was the biggest yet, and the talent pool is constantly growing. Queensland will take 25 girls to May’s National Championships, with one more spot possibly able to be filled before the competition.
Queensland’s coaching team will be finalised in the coming weeks, with training schedules and further details to be released after this appointment.
