The AFLQDD summer preseason training program will kick off again on Monday November 11th with the program open to all players born between 1997 & 2002.
The program has been modified to place a greater emphasis on skill development. The first 5 weeks prior to Christmas will allow players to undergo a series of fitness and skill tests, before undergoing specialised training.
The 6 week block after Christmas will put players through their paces in a series of AFL 9s matches, where retaining possession and skills re paramount.
The program offers two payment options with the basic package costing just $65 for the 11 weeks of training. All partcipants recieve a fitted singlet, food and drink and their own personalised conditioning program for season 2014. The advanced package costs $100 and offers an additional raft of benefits including being trained by the Brisbane Lions Academy coaches and a 3-game membership.
All eligible registered AFLDDJ players should receive an invitation in the mail during the week, but the letter has been attached in case it has not arrived.
These sessions also form the first component in representative training for season 2014.
