The Sabot River titles were held at BSS in light and flukey conditions. The race officials worked very hard to ensure that a result came from the weekend and they were very impressed with the way the young sailors and parents supported the on water decisions. Due to shorter courses, much of the racing was done in front of the clubhouse which gave great viewing for the parents on the deck. Racing was very close and the river conditions magnified any errors. Good tactics were rewarded and bad decisions often lost many places. Congratulations to Jack Sherring from Southport who won the one-ups and Lily and Carlton who won the two -ups.
