Luff Affair 2nd & Me 'n Dad (local Maryborough father &
daughter) 3rd.
Interstate Trophy went to Qld, from NSW & Victoria.
The
President's Trophy for 2008 was awarded to the Anderson Family - over
the past five years since the Qld NEC President last awarded this
trophy, this family typify the family spirit in our class. Dad provides
a "hero" status to many of the younger sailors, with others re-ignited
the Darling Point Sailing Squadron, and is passionate about providing
affordable sailing to all. Sons, Chris & Jack, have coached many of
the pre-nationals events, and contribute to coaching in other states.
Daughter Jenny is heavily involved in coaching at Lourdes Hill College,
and sails with "her girls" on club race days to pass onto them her
experience. And Mum ("the rock") Sandra is always supportive of all her
family (and her extended 125 family) in their sailing endeavours.
