Community Warms To Heat Engagement
For Cairns-based FNQ FC Heat, the National Premier Leagues is providing more than the opportunity to develop elite footballers – it offers a chance to give something back to the community.
The Heat finished their debut NPL Queensland season in the bottom half of the table, but are leading the pack in terms of community engagement, working with a range of charities and community partners to leave a lasting legacy in the region.
Heat TV, the club’s media arm, was there as the players, coaches, staff and volunteers engaged their local community for a range of worthy causes and events this season.
