Coolaroo have booked a Grand-Final showdown with University after eliminating the three-time premiers in their impressive 67-point victory on Saturday.
Key-forward Miels Grice led the way for the Roos with six majors for the afternoon, Coolaroo booted 5-first quarter goals as they put the Premiers on the back foot from the onset. The men in navy held a 26-point margin as the Tigers struggled to run with Coolaroo.
It was Deja Roo in the second term as the Roos flexed their muscles in a physical second term. Coolaroo were only able to convert three of their eight shots on goal but their defence was superb, applying pressure at all times and again keeping Toowoomba to just the one goal for the second quarter.
The third term was a much better defensive quarter, as the Premiers increased their intensity around the contest but could only record two majors as the Roos were able to squeeze three, third quarter goals. Coolaroo held an unbeatable 45-point lead going into the final change.
It was all Coolaroo in the final term as the Roos confirmed they would be the second contender in 2013, romping home to an impressive 67-point victory, to knock the three-time reigning Premiers out of the 2013 Premiership race.

Coolaroo coach Nick Barker was confident everything was falling into place for his side after the way they handled the Tigers.
"The boys absolutely carved them up, they're certainly on song," Barker told the Chronicle.
Coach Barker was confident if they could get in front they could hold onto it and was the perfect warm-up for the premiership decider.
"All the indications at training have been strong, I had a feeling that once we got a bit of a lead, we'd dominate."
"That game worked for us, we needed continuous football and to battle-hardened."
