Gold Nugget Camp Selections
To qualify for the Gold Nuggets Camp you had to be selected from the final Academy Camp.

"Live-in" weekend camps (under supervision) for a total of 80 boys (8 regional camps by 4 up-age boys and 6 down age boys) and 80 girls selected from the regional Academies.

Camps conducted in October each year and directed by the BVCC Director of Coaching.

Camps provided for advanced individual and team skill development.

20 players will be selected from this camp per age group and sex for either the Country Cup at Albury (up age boys & girls) or the Southern Cross Cup at Ballarat (down age boys & girls). They are then placed in 2 teams Goldminers and Bushrangers.
