Well footy heads, the home and away season is officially done with the two make up games played. The season was on the line for the Rebels and Swans, and both came out with solid wins! Here's tmy review for the two make up games!
Toronto Rebels 12.16.88 def Etobicoke Kangaroos 4.5.29
In a game that mean nothing to the Roos, it appears that they had some issues with numbers with only 13 on the team sheet. Chippa still managed to kick 3 goals but the Rebels were always going to come out on top. Especially when the opposition only has 13 players.
The Rebels dominated the scoring shots but some inaccurate kicking saved the Roos from some real embarrassment.
Phantom Prediction 1-1 in Make Up Round
Ottawa Swans 15.10.100 def Toronto Eagles 5.2.32
All hands were on deck for the Swans in a game that landed them their maiden finals appearance! Kozlowski lead the way with 4 goals, backed by Shaughnessy and Strom with 3 each.
Despite the fact that second spot was up for grabs and their captain was returning to the team, the Eagles didn't have the numbers on the park. You would think with such an important game they'd had a full list to work with. Could this be an issue come finals? Have to wait and see..
Unfortunatley, similar to the Roos on Thursday night, they were always going to be up against it with limited numbers. The Eagles another scalp taken by the Swans at home in 2013.
