Well footy heads, another great round of footy and the Phantom was way off the mark, picking only 3 wins from a possible 7 games of Men and Women's football.
The finals race ended for a couple of teams and a spot secured for another couple. Here is my review of the final Round of the AFL Ontario Home and Away Season.
High Park Demons 15.9.99 def Toronto Dingos 7.3.45
A dominant display from the Demons (who have won a couple of games in a row now) has pretty much locked them in a finals berth, although they could finish anywhere from 4th to 6th from here, depending on other results
Manning Mitchell was Best On Ground for the Demons, supported well by Max Swiecki as Loughnane kicked 4 majors and Tinglin 2.
The Dingos clearly weren't interested in playing football and have risked losing the coveted Top 2 spot. Camilo Serpa the only stand out for Robbo's boys kicking 3 and winning "BOG" honours.
Dingos apparently more interested in Pub Golf after the game than getting a kick, while League President Marty will tell anyone who will listen that the Demons are now Premiership favourites!
Phantom Prediction 0-1 to begin Round 12
Guelph Gargoyles 9.15.69 def Etobicoke Kangaroos 7.10.52
In true Etobicoke fashion, the Roos put up a strong fight until the very end but were unable to get over the Gargoyles for the second time this season. Both a mathematical chance of making the finals with a win, the boys from Guelph were unlucky not to win by a few more with some inaccurate kicking!
Chippa Harris kicked 3 and JR 2 in a BOG performance but it was not enough to stop the likes of Matt Dean with 5 goals and Kerm Matthews with 3 goals.

Phantom Predictions 0-2
Broadview Hawks 15.9.99 def Toronto Rebels 6.6.42
While the Rebels look like they had a go, they don't have the depth of the Hawks who were once again led by Nick Shuttleworth with 5 goals and a BOG performance.
He was backed by Connor Dullard with 4 goals and Royle and Willis played well, as the Hawks showed yet again why they are Flag Favourites.
The Rebels were missing a few of their usual scoring options with Bodnar and King out of the side, but are clearly not in that Top 3 contender form they were a 6 weeks ago.
Phantom Prediction 1-3. Finally on the board
Ottawa Swans 10.12.72 def Central Blues 7.12.54
The red hot Swans continued on their way towards September with a solid win against the Blues in Ottawa on Saturday. Darren Roffey and Nathan Strom kicked 3 goals a piece while Jakobik, Campani and Beardmore featured in the Best players yet again.
The Blues battled hard and as Lock and Williams kicked 2 goals each but it was not enough to get them over the line. Was a little strange to see Riley Armstrong's name missing from the team sheet, especially in such a big game!
Blues are now officially out of the finals race, Swans still in with a chance with their game in hand!
Phantom Prediction 1-4
Toronto Eagles 16.5.101 def Hamilton Wildcats 6.6.42
The Wildcats will no doubt be happy to see the back of the 2013 season which has been a tough, winless affair.
While the season has been rough, they've got some positive signs in that they kicked one of their higher scores of the year and never gave in until the final siren. Curtis Sherwood was best on ground for the Cats with 2 goals.
The Eagles got themselves back into the winners circle with a comfortable 10 goal win and will carry a lot of confidence up to Ottawa next weekend. Koens kicking 5 goals for the Eagles was the star of the day, running into some form at the right time of year.
Phantom Predictions 2-5 to finish the Div 1 Round
WOMENS
Etobicoke Kangaroos 5.3.33 def Hamilton Wildcats 2.4.16
What a solid win from the Kangaroos over the Wildcats this week! They look to be coming into some form at the right time of year that's for sure.
Etobicoke had a good spread of goal kickers in King, Tyrcz, Amaral, Quinn and Wright while Lenore Marcuson was given the Best On Ground honours.
Hamilton, no doubt disappointed in the loss but still finishing the Home and Away season in second, only reported Candace Kwan who kicked 2 of their 4 goals.

Phantom Predictions 0-1 in Womens Division (2-6 in the Round)
Ottawa Swans 10.21.81 - Central Blues 0.0.0
Can't help but feel a little sorry the Blues ladies who travelled to Ottawa on a high after a solid game the week before in Toronto. To go all the way to Ottawa and come out without scoring at all would have been tough.
Similar to the Wildcats men, I am sure they're glad to see the end of a winless season. The Swans on the other hand will be very happy with the win, although there was some wayward kicking which could have made the margin even bigger.
Emma Dickinson was BOG again and will no doubt feature pretty highly in the League Best and Fairest voting this season. She also kicked 2 goals on the day, as did Margo Legault and Kirsten Bodashefsky. The Swans up and about before the finals start!
Phantom Predictions 1-1 in Women's Division and 3-7 in the Round
