Mitchell Harris came home from the 2013 SAPSASA National Basketball Championships with a silver medal after S.A. went down to Victoria, 57-89, in the Gold medal game.

The S.A. Girls state team finished third on the ladder and then went on to defeat NSW, 44-33 in the semi-final and pulled off a thrilling Gold Medal win, 41-39 over Victoria.
Three SA Country players, Kiana Sochacki from Strathalbyn along with Kiarra Paech and Kaylah Schulz from Murray Bridge, were members of the Gold medal team.
Eliza Joynes, elder daughter of former Pioneers’ star Jason Joynes, was also a member of the Champion team.
