This Sunday, the Darling Downs Crows play in an Elimination Final against the Sherwood Magpies.
Going into last week's match, the young Crows were sitting second on the table, with a match against the undefeated Redland Sharks. Unfortunately the boys went down and their inferior percentage saw them on the raw end of a three-way tie for 3rd spot. Either way, an Elimination Final was waiting.
A month ago, the Crows played their only fixture against the Magpies, a hard fought 11 point victory. The Crows trailed at 3/4 time, but were able to overcome a number of missed shots to ensure victory.
This weekend, there will be no room for error, no opportunity to leave it until the final minutes to claw back a win.
The Crows have named their strongest team for the season and are going out there with one goal in mind. Hopefully, many of the DD footballing community can make the journey down to Brisbane to help support the boys.
