Division Three
Blacktown Magic (11W, 2L, 1D) are run-away leaders in Division Three and are favourites to earn a week off come the start of the finals. Their final two games are at home with their main tests to come against Sydney University and Gosford in the final fortnight.
Randwick City (11W, 4L) are just edging out Gosford (11W, 4L) on percentage. Randwick City have the softer run home, only facing one top five side in Nor-West. Gosford on the other hand have to play Sydney University (this weekend) and Blacktown away in the final round.
Sitting ominously behind is Sydney University (10W, 4L). They have a tough fortnight with away matches against Gosford and Blacktown before an easiest test at home against Southern Power. That said, you want to be playing your best football against the best opposition at this time of the year.
Nor-West (9W, 5L) don’t face any pressure behind them on the ladder but have every chance of upsetting the apple cart above them with a relatively easy run home. If they can upset Randwick City at home they are a chance of gaining a double chance.
Division Four
Division Four is open for business from second down to seventh on the ladder.
Moorebank (11W, 2L, 1D) should finish atop the ladder with all of their final three home and away games being played at home. The hardest of these will be against second-placed UTS.
Speaking of UTS (10W, 4L), the match mentioned above and the final game away to Sydney University will tell a lot as to whether they secure a double chance in the finals series.
Pennant Hills (10W, 4L, 1D) have an easy run home despite being away for two of their final three matches. Their toughest game will be at home against fifth-placed UNSW/ES.
Sydney University (10W, 5L) are an outside chance of securing a double chance but will need to win their final three games.
UNSW/ES face a dogfight (8W, 7L) to nail down a finals berth ahead of Holroyd-Parramatta and Sydney Hills Eagles- all of whom are on equal match ratio.
Interestingly, all three have games against top five opponents and it could come down to final round mini elimination final clash between Sydney Hills Eagles and Holroyd-Parramatta to tell who will play in week one of the finals.
Division Five
The minor premiership in Division Five will be determined in the final round clash between Camden and Randwick City (both 12W, 1L).
Three games behind is UTS (10W, 4L) whose hardest game in the last fortnight is against fifth-placed UNSW/ES (6W, 8L).
Sitting in between is Sydney University (7W, 6L) who will again play in finals in this grade.
Blacktown Magic (5W, 8L) sit in sixth and are well within a shot of replacing UNSW/ES in the finals. A lot will come down to their Round 15 clash against Penrith (5W, 9L). Penrith are on equal match ratio with Holroyd-Parramatta- with both outside chances of making the finals.
