This weeks second McDonald's Mini Legend Award went to Patrick Harman from the Coolaroo Football Club. In their sides big win, Patrick was always one of the first to celebrate his teammates after they kicked a goal.
Patrick is detainly one of the favourite players in the side, showcased by a loud cheer and high fives all round from his teammates when he won the award.
Patrick not only describes the fun and enjoyment of football as one of the reasons he plays, but also thinking about strategies about how to win. Maybe this mix could make him a future coach in years to come!
Patrick is the second of two winners for Round 14 to make up for no winner in Round 13.
Over the remaining 4 rounds of the AFLDDJ season, AFL Queensland staff will be recognising players who display the best acts of sportsmanship along with mateship and inclusion both on and off the field.
Players will be recognised in front of their peers at the conclusion of matches by AFL Queensland staff and be rewarded with a certificate from the Junior major sponsor McDonald's Toowoomba Region Restaraunts.
Look out for Webby, Jeffro or Davo, who could be at your ground this weekend awarding the McDonald's Mini Legend Award to you!
