This weeks McDonald's Mini Legend Award went to Cooper Englart from the South Burnett Toowoomba Bombers. Despite the heavy rain and goals coming at a premium, he repeatedly passed the ball off to teammates right in front of goal.
Cooper has being playing for 4 years now and loves watching the Brisbane Lions play. He also loves challenging himself against other teams on a Saturday morning.
Cooper is the first of two winners for Round 14 to make up for no winner in Round 13.
Over the remaining 4 rounds of the AFLDDJ season, AFL Queensland staff will be recognising players who display the best acts of sportsmanship along with mateship and inclusion both on and off the field.
Players will be recognised in front of their peers at the conclusion of matches by AFL Queensland staff and be rewarded with a certificate from the Junior major sponsor McDonald's Toowoomba Region Restaraunts.
Look out for Webby, Jeffro or Davo, who could be at your ground this weekend awarding the McDonald's Mini Legend Award to you!
