This weeks McDonald's Mini Legend Award went to Jordyn Soley from the South Burnett Saints who was one of the Saints best in their teams loss. It wasn't her silky skills or goals which caught our attention however, it was her non-stop encouragement of her team-mates which won her the Round 12 award.
Off field though Jordyn isn't out spoken and is one of the most polite and kind Under 12 players. In her first year of playing footy, Soley has come through the Auskick ranks and is a true-bloods support, following the Sydney Swans.
Jordyn loves kicking goals and showing the boys how to play.
Over the remaining 6 rounds of the AFLDDJ season, AFL Queensland staff will be recognising players who display the best acts of sportsmanship along with mateship and inclusion both on and off the field.
Players will be recognised in front of their peers at the conclusion of matches by AFL Queensland staff and be rewarded with a certificate from the Junior major sponsor McDonald's Toowoomba Region Restaraunts.
Look out for Webby, Jeffro or Davo, who could be at your ground this weekend awarding the McDonald's Mini Legend Award to you!
