Gippsland Country Championship Info
The Country Football Leagues Association (CFLA) in conjunction with the Gippsland Soccer League will be holding the Junior Boys Country Championships at Harold Preston Park in Traralgon this coming Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
The competition will include teams from Warrnambool, Shepparton, Ballarat, Bendigo, Albury Wodonga and both Central and South Gippsland in the following age groups: Under 11’s, 12’s 13’s, 14’s, 15’s and Under 16’s.
All results will be posted immediately following each game and can be accessed on the gippslandsoccer.com.au website under the fixtures tab, or follow this link. In the drop down box, scroll down to CFLA U11, CFLA U12, CFLA U14 and CFLA U16.

On Sunday, Melbourne Victory will be in attendance between 12 noon and 3.00pm. TAC - activations will include an activity zone. Giveaways (sunnies, slap bands and sticky prizes). We will also have promo staff and actors to run some activities and take polaroids photos of the MV fans. Players in attendance will be:

Melbourne Heart will conduct a Talent Identification Session on Pitch 1 at 4.00pm Sunday. A game has been scheduled between the successful 17 to 20 year olds, selected to trial from Gippsland, and the Churchill United Youth team. Players who impress at the trial will be invited to Melbourne to participate in further trials for the Club's National Youth League team. Good luck to those young men...
