The Army AFL Sydney Womens Round 8 Rising Star nominee is Fayhima Queik from the Auburn Tigers.
Fayhima (known as Foufou) has played five games of AFL this season displaying huge potential.
The fresh out of school 18 year old has never played or watched AFL before. Foufou inspires her more experienced team mates who nicknamed her ‘pocket rocket’ because of her speed and agility. Her fearless attack at the ball motivates her team to dig deeper when they’re tired.
Foufou is a courageous player who wants to get more tackles in every game and be a strong defensive competitor by improving her shepherding skills. She is committed to the team on and off the field with consistent attendance at training and eagerness to learn more about tactics, rules and develop herself as a player.
