HE has tried his hand at six different sports and come November, Warwick Redbacks player Scott See will have added two more to his growing list of achievements.
The soon-to-be-17-year-old is set to jet off on a tour of Ireland, United Kingdom and France with the Wanderers Australia group playing Gaelic and hybrid football.
The opportunity has only been given to 36 players across Australia.
"I saw it on the Redbacks' Facebook page and applied for a position," See said.
"But it had sold out.
"Then they announced they were taking another six places and I was chosen."
See, who has previously played volleyball, hockey, cricket and even completed a triathlon joined the Warwick Redbacks four seasons ago.
And he rates it as his favourite sport so far.
"You have to run more, it is more physically demanding and you feel more part of a team in AFL," See said.
The 18-day tour will leave on November 29, a few days after See finishes Year 12 at Warwick State High School.
While on tour See will play six games against club and representative teams, climb the Eiffel Tower, see a live English Premier League football game and
visit the Anzac battlefields of Somme.
See will stay with host families during the trip - something he said he had never done before.
"It will be a good experience," See said.
"I'm doing it as my 'schoolies'.
"It will be a bit of fun and something different."
