AFL Sydney Rising Star- Round 8

The Round 8 AFL Sydney Rising Star nominee is Daniel Schacher of North Shore.

Daniel Schacher has made the transition from U18 football to the Premier Division this year, displaying consistent performances both as a forward and back. His height and athletic ability allow him to play at the both ends of the ground. He shows good maturity for a young player as he remains calm in pressure situations.

The former Willoughby junior, progressed to the Under 18's in 2011 and 2012, where his excellent form last year was rewarded as he made his senior debut and played 4 senior games in the run up to the finals where he was named as emergency during the Premier Division finals.　

Further hard work will ensure Daniel remains an integral part of North Shore plans for season 2013 and beyond.
