VIDEO | Sharks Bite Back Against CQFC

Palm Beach Sharks overcame a two goal deficit and a first half send-off on Saturday evening to record an unlikely 5-4 win over CQFC Energy at Mallawa Drive on the Gold Coast.

A blistering four goal haul from CQFC striker Chris Geddes wasn’t enough for the visitors in the see-sawing encounter, as both sides threw caution to the wind in pursuit of a win.

Jonathan Camilleri and Chris Lucas netted braces in each half for the Sharks before Alex Panic’s goal late in the second half sealed the come from behind win.

Sharks did it the hard way after captain Jamie Pitt was dismissed in the first half after an inadvertent hand ball on the goal line.

The extended highlights package features the pick of the match action – including all the goals! – as well as post match interviews with Palm Beach Sharks’ captain Jamie Pitt and CQFC Energy striker Sander Waterland.
