AFL Sydney Rising Star- Round 6

The Round 6 AFL Sydney Rising Star nominee is Alex O’Dea of Sydney University.

Alex was a member of the 2012 Sydney University Colts squad before progressing up to the senior squad in 2013.

Alex has been a consistent performer for the Premier Division team this year ,regularly being among the best players and was again a valuable contributor in last weekends win over Western Suburbs kicking one of the teams goals.

Premier Division Head Coach Tom Morrison identifies Alex’s main strengths as his leg speed, his pressure on the football and, his goal kicking ability.
