Rockville Oval will be the place to be with the first Super Sunday of footy kicking off this weekend when the Darling Downs Crows take on Coorparoo and AFLDD Women's League kicks into Round two action.
The Under 14 DD Crows will take to the field first against the reigning McDonald's Shield Premiers from 12:30pm. Darling Downs are coming off an impressive 57 point win over Caboolture and a confident going into Sunday's clash.
"I believe both sides will be better matched regarding size and we also have Tom Matthews and Ryan Cherry to come back, so we have a few boys up our sleeve and are good ins, "Crows Coach Charlie Aston said on the Round 5 match up with Coorparoo
The Crows will also focus on their forward set up this week against the premiers.
Aston added, "We will focus on keeping our forward line open for (BJ) Shelton and Braydon Hess and we are going in confident"
Round two action of the AFL Darling Downs Women's league will kick off from 2:30pm when the top of the table Bombers take on the Warwick Redbacks. South Toowoomba were in red hot form in Round one against the Reddies, recording a big win.
The Redbacks will face Lockyer Valley from 3:30pm, as the Demons take to the field for the first time in 2013 and the Bombers will get their chance to see how they line up against Lockyer when they clash at 4:30pm.
