THE Redbacks made it two from two with a 14.12.96 to 8.5.53 victory against Dalby at Roddies Oval on Saturday. It was the first game since the January flood covered the field.
Coach Jason Wright rated Kurt Millard, Brendan Iles, Kurt Heier and Alex Cutmore as his four best.
"We had the advantage of the wind in the first quarter which enabled us to open up a 30-point lead," Wright said.
"Dalby kicked with the breeze in the second quarter to score five/three."
In the second half, Dalby kicked the first two goals of the quarter into the wind, but the Redbacks responded by kicking the next seven goals. Wright said with a 30-lead at three-quarter time, his team knew Dalby had the ability to win.
"For the second week in succession, our boys stood up and outscored the opposition into the wind in the final quarter," he said.
Wright was impressed with the first game of Sheldon Livingstone and the second game of Matt Stone.
