Balmain stalwart Andrew “The Great One” Kyprianou reaches an amazing milestone this week as he lines up for Balmain in his 400th game for the club on Sunday at Henson Park.
Last year Kyprianou also achieved a massive feat to kick his 1000th goal (currently at 1026) for Balmain, and he just keeps knocking over the records.
Kyprianou is already the games record holder for Balmain and the first to reach the 400 game milestone, and there is no sign of him throwing in the towel.
Andrew, who started playing in the 1980s, is starting his 26th season for the Balmain Football Club and last year passed both 1000 goals for the club as well as 500 goals for Reserve Grade.
In his 26 seasons he has racked up 157 First Grade games with 431 First Grade goals, 213 Reserve Grade games with 501 Reserve Grade goals, and way back when he played 29 U18 games for 94 U18 goals.
Congratulations Kipper on a fantastic achievement over four decades.
