The final details of the AFLQ Masters 'BE A MAN' carnival are now complete (attachment 1). The carnival will be held on Saturday 23rd March, 8am to 6pm at Sandgate Hawks Sporting Club.
We greatly appreciate the compromises teams have made in regards to game time changes. We have not consulted with you if this change is 30 mins or less.
To accommodate all teams, the carnival has been set up like the NAB Cup preliminary rounds. Groups of three teams playing 2 x 1/2s against each other.

Ten minutes after the completion of each groups' games, the three teams will gather in a dedicated area, enjoying XXXX Gold (donated by TC and the XXXX Brewery team at Milton). Speeches will be deliverd by Craig Allingham, Professional Development Consultant and Graeme Higgs, PCFA Qld State Manager.
Money boxes , in team colours, will be making their way around the ground while you're playing. The money boxes are your responsibility when you're not playing. The team that generates the most fundraising will be awarded a prize.
Teams must also provide an umpire and a first aider.
There are a couple of teams that might be light on for numbers. You can help out wherever you want. There is no requirement to pay an extra $5, however if you choose to do so, make sure it goes into your teams money box.
There will be plenty of children's activities e.g. face painting, clowns and a variety of food options so invite family and friends. Print the flyer (attachment 2) and put it on the fridge. All food/activity providers will be donating 10% of their revenue to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
Please let people know about the day. As well as an enjoyable day of football, we are looking to promote the Masters as a socially aware organisation.
