JUNIOR LAKERS SELECTED FOR NZ TOUR
Three Mount Gambier basketballers have been selected to represent the Australian Junior Country Cup in the Pacific Rim Junior Championships in Auckland, New Zealand over the Easter Weekend.
Mount Gambier’s State Under 16 representatives Rachael Hines and Brad Rathjen join State SAPSASA and SA Country Under 14 player Lauren Ross in these representative teams. Hines has been selected as a forward, while Rathjen and Ross will have the responsibility of play makers in their teams.
All three players turned in outstanding performances in their respective teams at the Australian Country Junior Cup last week.
SA Country Basketball State Tour Manager, Roger Hammond has been appointed Manager of the touring Under 16 Boys’team.
