The UNSW-ES Stingrays have recently appointed Krissie Steen as their new Senior Head Coach for 2013.
Krissie is an experienced, talented and well respected coach within Sydney women’s football. She recently led the Sydney Uni Bombers to their 2011 and 2012 Grand Final appearances.
Krissie is currently undertaking her Masters of Coaching at Sydney University and is a Level 2 qualified coach with aspirations to get her Level 3 accreditation.
A club spokesperson believed Steen will help develop the Stingrays in the Womens Division One competition this year.
"She has a massive desire to improve those who play for her and is dedicated and passionate about football in general.
"Adding someone of Krissie’s calibre is a massive coup for the Stingers."
Ben Porter remains heavily involved in the Stingrays as Skills Coach, whilst Sean Nunan will continue as Assistant Coach.
