CBL Churchill v Moe

Moe travelled to Churchill for the Moe-Churchill cup and unfortunately both sides lost.

The Women played a side outside the 4, however they were at full strength for the first time this season and Moe was without Steph Walker. Churchill are the current premiers. Churchill got off to a flyer and extended the lead to 25 points late in the third quarter. Finally, Moe started to put their game together and came storming home. They got the difference down to 4 before Churchill steadied and won 68-58. Carly ended with 19. The result still leaves Moe in second place.

The Men faced Churchill without Steve Bonacci and Churchill got off to a great start and led easily at quarter time. Moe re-organised and with a great quarter closed the gap to 3. Churchill took over in the third in a very physical game to extend the lead to 15 at 3/4 time. Despite Moe efforts in the last Churchill maintain the lead to win by the 15 points 77-62. Moe lost Ben Kerrigan with an ankle injury late in the game and Cal Rees finished with 25.
