BIG V MEN QUALIFYING FINAL - LTU @ MONASH UNI
LTU Eagles take on Monash Uni this Saturday 29th July @ Monash Uni, 8.30 PM.
Uni versus Uni, rival against rival, LTU against Monash Uni, it doesn't get any bigger than this. The 2 teams that have battled it out against each other since both teams joined the Big V in 2003 now take centre stage in this weeks Qualifying final.

GAME 1 MONASH UNI 65 d LTU 56 @ Monash Uni
The Trevor Martin Trophy game was a forgettable occasion for LTU after scoring 25 in the first quarter, the team only scored 31 for the rest of the game. Without Tim Sturrock, who missed the first 3 games through injury, the Eagles were still gelling and were in with a chance right to the end. The game was marred by a season ending knee injury to Chris Morris who had shown great form in his return to basketball.

GAME 2 LTU 94 d MONASH UNI 81 @ LTU (Darebin)
Things went more according to plan in this match with the Eagles able to execute their game plan. Sturrock dominated with 37 points and 8 boards. Neville Chivhanganye held his own against Willie Simmons, picking up 15 rebounds and Pete Leimonitis had a quiet double double.
