Draw Analysis: It is always tough to predict the competitiveness of sides year to year, but the Bulldogs face some definite challenges in their premiership defence in 2013. Due to ground unavailability, their first two rounds are away, before a three week stretch where they play UTS, Balmain and North Shore at home. They will play each of the other finalists in 2012 twice this coming season.

Pre-Season Preparations: UNSW/ES commenced pre-season training on 27 November with sessions twice weekly at the Village Green, with three Saturday sessions leading into the Christmas break.
