Draw Analysis: It is a good start for the Eagles who will be looking to improve on last season’s finish- their first year with the senior side in the NEAFL competition. They face Sydney University and Western Suburbs at home in the opening fortnight. The challenge will be facing three finalists (UNSW/ES, Pennant Hills and North Shore) in Rounds 6 to 8. They only play two of the finalists in UNSW/ES and Balmain twice in 2013.

Pre-Season Preparations: Sydney Hills Eagles have been busily training for the 2013 season with their training schedule varied including gym, specialist sprint, and football-related training sessions.
