Draw Analysis: Like all other Division One sides, Penrith will play each side twice over the eighteen week season. It is not an overly difficult start as the Rams face two finalists from 2012 in the first five rounds- with the main challenge being last year’s Grand Finalists, Southern Power away in the second round. They can pitch their tent at home for three straight weeks twice in 2013. Another positive is the fact they face no finalists from last year from Rounds 9 to 13.

Pre-Season Preparations: Penrith commenced pre-season training on Wednesday 14 November with a light training run and a “Meet the Coaches” assembly. The club trained for a total of six weeks leading up to Christmas.
