Draw Analysis: There are opportunities and challenges for the side that were fancied by many to claim the premiership last season. Opportunities present themselves in the first five rounds where they face only two finalists from 2012- including North Shore in the opening round; a side that the Demons have a favourable record against in recent times. They face none of the Premier Division finalists from Rounds 9 to 13. Challenges present themselves in that they face North Shore, St George and UNSW/ES twice in 2013.

Pre-Season Preparations: Pennant Hills have commenced training once weekly from Thursday 15 November at Pennant Hills High School.

Club News (courtesy of club website): Sydney Swans rookie list Brandon Jack, coaches Yard, Kenny and Clarke reappointed for 2013, thirsty Thirds are back in 2013, and Goodall claims Club Best and Fairest.
