Draw Analysis: North Shore arguably face the hardest start of any side in Premier Division in 2013, with three of their first four matches being away. They will look for instant revenge against their bogey side from last year in Pennant Hills in Round One. The Bombers face fellow finalists in St George (Round 2- home) and UNSW/ES (Round 4- away) in their opening stretch. The positives are that they finish with three of their last four games at home and have a softer middle season fixture compared to some others.

Pre-Season Preparations: North Shore recommenced training on Sunday 18 November, with ten sessions held before Christmas. All players underwent a fitness test and were issued with an individual running program.
