Draw Analysis: With their home ground unavailable in the first fortnight, Manly’s first home game and opportunity to unfurl their Division One flag will come in Round 3 against Pennant Hills. They face another finalist in Balmain in the first round. They face four finalists from 2012 once, and will play neighbours North Shore in the final round. Their best opportunities for wins will come after each of the weeks’ off for Byes and Wet Weather Rounds.

Pre-Season Preparations: Pre-season officially commenced on Thursday 22 November, with the club training twice weekly. The club has also been the first to train at the new synthetic AFL ground at Narrabeen High School.
