The Korumburra women came to town in form and facing a tired Moe side without Steph Walker, but to no avail as Moe out played Korumburra for a great 48-39 win. The men cruised to a 81-70 win aftera very tight first half.

Korumburra had been the form side of late, especially with inclusions of past premiership players. With no Steph and the narrow loss the night before and being a point down at the half the signs were ominious. However, the women dominated after halftime and didn't let Korumburra into the game to win 48-39. Carly had 15 and Danielle had 13. Moe entered the four after this game as they caught up to the games played of the other teams.

Korumburra played a zone defence against Moe for the entire game and in the first half it caused the scoring to slow. Korumburra were scoring on the counter. At halftime some adjustments were made and Moe dominated the third quarter to lead by 9 at 3/4 time. This continued into the last quarter with Moe getting out to a 20 point lead until Korumburra scored the last 8 points to make it an 11 point win 81-70. Brendan Dawson continued his fine form dominating the boards. He had 12, Cal Rees on his return scored 22, but the pleasing thing was that 5 players scored double figures.
