Once again in 2012 the WDFNL selected Representative Teams in the U13s, U15s and U17s to represent the League at the Netball Victoria Association Championships. The Teams also competed in the Portland Association Championships as a lead up to the Association Championships and the U15 girls came away as premiers & champions.
Both the Under 15 and U17 teams made the finals in the Association Championships in Ballarat, which was a fantastic effort.
Teams also competed in a Tournament in Geelong in late October, which was a tough competition but the girls gained invaluable experience.
Thank you to the coaches, Chris Van Kempen (U15s), Sara Lenehan (U17s) and Rebekah Haberfield (U13s), who have all put in a lot of time and effect to coach the teams.
