The Camden Cats Senior Australian Football Club is pleased to announce the key signing of Shane Doherty and the retention of all key players from its 2012 campaign.
Reigning Sanders Medallist and Club Captain Josiah Ayling, Best & Fairest Rhys Lawson, star utility Sam Young and rising midfielder Jordan Beveridge have recommitted along with its 2012 Premier Division recruits Ben Reid, Mark Maher and Chris Kendrick (pictured below).
With six years and 99 games experience in the Sydney AFL Premier Division the Camden Cats are excited to announce the recruitment of Shane Doherty for our 2013 campaign. Shane will form part of the Cats Senior Squad for 2013 and will undoubtedly assist both on and off the track with the club's goal to be the 2013 Premiers in both divisions this year.
The Club has also retained First Grade Coach Kane Rowley who successfully steered the Cats to their first finals appearance in the Sydney AFL in 2012.
Camden has high hopes for the season ahead and the early signings of its core group are indicative of a club on the rise.
The Club welcomes players of any ability who wish to join preparations for its exciting 2013 campaign at Pre-Season training (Fairfax Reserve, Harrington Park) beginning on Tuesday November 13 at 6.30pm and continuing every Tuesday and Thursday up until Christmas.
