In another coup for the AFL, former Essendon star Mark McVeigh has recently been appointed to the position of Talent and Coaching Manager- Sydney Harbour North.
Mark returns home to NSW after an exceptional AFL career that saw him play 232 games with the Essendon Football Club. Mark who hails from the Central Coast originally, was drafted at number nine from the NSW/ACT Rams in 1998. His career spanned 14 seasons and included 2 international team honours as well as holding the position of vice-captain with Essendon from 2006-2012.
Mark's passion, expertise and vast football knowledge will prove invaluable to the program and provide our many talented players and coaches, access to the skills and disciplne required to suceed at the elite level.
Mark's brother, Jarrad is the premiership-winning co-captain of the Sydney Swans.
Mark will be primarily based out of the Moore Park Sydney office.
