Sydney University youngster, Jethro Braico has capped off a solid first year at the club by being accepted into the Rio Tinto AFL Footy Means Business Program.
Braico played several games in NEAFL and Premier Division, as well as helping the Colts (Under 18 Division One) reach the Preliminary Final.
The program is a leadership development program run jointly by Rio Tinto and the AFL. The program offers men aged between 18 and 24 a chance to gain exposure to elite AFL training, and corporate networking opportunities to strengthen their leadership and teamwork skills.
Jethro will travel to Perth in November for the first stage of the program, with the second stage coinciding with the Dreamtime at the “G” match in season 2013. Likely to make up part of the Southern Team, Jethro will be coached by Chris Johnson, with the Northern Team to be coached by Andrew McLeod.
