The Illawarra Lions have concluded their season with the Presentation Night held at Towradgi Beach Hotel on 12 October.
The Premier Division count was a close one all night and culminated in Ryan Price (pictured) winning his first McQuinn Medal as the Senior Best and Fairest; ahead of Lewis Wilson in second place and Kenny Ewen-Chappell rounding out the top 3.
Price also took home awards for Leading Goalkicker and Club Champion.
Youngster Tom Green capped a fantastic season by taking out the Most Consistent Award, Duane Jefferis took out the Most Improved, whilst Ben Hyndes took home the Coach’s Award.
In Division Two, Nathan Iskra held on in a nail-biter to take home his first Harding Medal, with Matthew Adamson and Sam Jenner tied for second place. Will Cook deservedly won the Most Consistent Award, whilst Mitchell O’Brian won the Most Improved. Mitchell Quarrell was a popular winner of the Coach’s Award.
In the Under 18s Division One, Elwyn Roberts shot out of the blocks and narrowly held off a late surge from Harrison Green to win the 18s B&F. Green won the Runner Up trophy, whilst Rhys Hamilton won Most Improved. Harry Dobson won Most Consistent and Cameron Kolster won the Best Backline player award. Shane Potter was unsurprisingly named Best Player in Finals.
President Debbie Brookfield was named Club Person of the Year, whilst Sam Lewis was awarded Life Membership of the Club.
