NEW APPOINTMENTS
I am very pleased to announce the two successful applicants, for the advertised roles of Competitions Administrator (CA) and Fixtures Officer (FO), as Alison Romas and David Bacon respectively.
Alison Romas has been operating in the role of CA for the past 6 months and over this time has developed the necessary skills within Sporting Pulse to carry out the position. This is in addition to her expert knowledge of the EDJBA competition, having volunteered for the Executive for 3 years. Alison is also extremely experienced in fixturing which will be beneficial to our team environment.
David Bacon has expert knowledge of our current fixturing system and has developed a computerised version which will retain the integrity of our current system, whilst reducing the required man-hours to the Member Clubs. This system will be trialled over the coming rounds. David is also a volunteer within the EDJBA. He is the chair of the Grading Committee and helps endlessly behind the scenes with Results, Ladders and Sporting Pulse.
I am very excited to have Alison and David as part of our team but more importantly as key players in the development of the EDJBA as an Association.
